Another way to access Computer Management is to type compmgmt.msc into the program launch search box.

You need help opening this console on the exact computer or server where you see the shared folder. For example, I take a server named file1 with a functional shared folder named HR. Usually, in order to see open files on this share, I need todig server file1 from the console of the control computer.

Now I see that the tall user may have opened the HR folder and the adpro.txt file.

If necessary, I can click on the file and select “Open” “Close File.” The fact is that most things need to be done when the file is locked.

File modification and deletion access can only be monitored if our own object access auditing is enabled. Clients can see entries in the event log.

To view connections to shares, type net session in the query string, or do the following: tviya:

    1. In Computer Management, log in to the netbook on which you created the consumable resource.

    2. In the console tree, expand Other Extension Tools, Shared Folders, and Also, and then select Sessions. Finally, you can view connections to For Shares consumers and computers.
